Storefront Door Hardware

Storefront doors have storefront door hardware which are the pieces of the door that allow the door to by operable, usable and assessable.

The standard storefront door hardware consist of

• A closer, surface, floor mounted, or concealed,"inside the top frame header"
• Push / Pull bars for opening and closing the door
• Offset, butt, or piano hinges for allowing the door to stand up right and swing in or out.
• Locking, "thumb turn, panic bars, paddel handels, or double cylinders"
• A threshold, mostly for keeping water from entering the building. A threshold is not necessary for interior aluminum storefront door applications.
