Used to push open or pull open a storefront door.
The term Push & Pull is a reference used in the aluminum storefront glass industry to describe what types of hardware will be used to push and pull a storefront door open.
For most front entrance doors it is common to have one push horizontal bar that spans from the left stile to the right stile of the door. One vertical 9" ADA compliant pull bar that resides on either the left or right stile of the door.
If there is a panic bar install onto the interior side of the storefront door then the horizontal push bar is omitted.
Push Pull bars are installed onto commercial interior and exterior entrance doors.
